1) We warmed up to 28 degrees today. It started out at 1 degree (-19 with the wind chill) so by the time it hit 28 it was like a heat wave.
2) Lissie had a chance for some Daddy time by going to Sydney with Shon over night today.
3) The care and consideration my sons show me. Joey is very protective and worries if he thinks I am tired or hungry. Alex is very helpful when I ask him to do something and even though we are all human, they rarely are rude. I appreciate it so much more when I go and spend time with my friends and see the way their teens sometimes treat them.

1) The discovery that if Lissie makes the spaghetti sauce and pulls some out before she puts the meat in...she will actually eat it. She is cooking as part of her young women's personal progress. Yay! Less cooking for me.
2) A sliced apple and a good book.
3) Getting through activity days tonight with five 7 & 8 year olds, trying to teach them how to hand sew and make their own pincushions....no tears, they kept at it and I didn't go to crazy...even with one dad dropping his daughter off 20 mins early. Sheesh.

1) Went to Red Lodge tonight to a digital scrapbooking class. My mind was opened. I had always thougtht that I would never be interested in that. Now I can see that I would love it. Much easier to get my family connected with my kid's lives. I could see doing a lot of photos in that and then just paper scrap my favorites, lots less pressure.
2) Read a couple of great books today, well finished one and read the other. It was awesome, shoveled the walk, then put laundry in and read between loads. Shon and the kids were experimenting in the kitchen today and I didn't even have to cook.
3) Orange juice. Yum.

1) The blessings given when you are set apart for callings. It is testimony building how they address thoughts that you have that haven't even been voiced.
2) After a middle of the night trip to the hospital with Joey, several tests and x-rays later we found out that his lungs are clear and that he has viral bronchitis instead of pneumonia. Sorry he is sick and wish I could fix it, but at least it isn't pneumonia!
3) Playing Battleship on my bed this afternoon with Toby, cooking a chicken for dinner and eating it with Shon's amazing home made wheat bread...he made up the recipe. Now the remainder of the chicken has been turned into soup for tomorrow's dinner. Life is good.
