2/12/11

1) Playing Sequence with Liss and Joey tonight and laughing really hard over silly things.

2) Finished a little project in my scrapbook room that I have had for about 4 years.  This is my year of UFO's.  Un Finished Objects.  All of those little projects are getting ticked off one by one.  They are mostly simple too, like an album that needed some journaling, or a frame that needs to be painted.

3) Hearing the annoying sound of Angelina Ballerina on TV (even thought they said scone properly because it is English loll) and knowing that my kids were older and I could just turn it off and walk away...and nobody would have a melt down....phew!

2/11/11

Yesterday's Post:

1) Playing Yahtzee on our stolen handheld game in the car with Shon.

2) Even though the drive to Glendive is long for just a two hour meeting, it was so great to spend 6 uninterrupted hours in the car with Shon.

3) Seeing Shon interact with the people in his district makes me all the more sure that this is the job he was meant to do and it will all be worth it in the end.  He is so happy and they like him so much.

Today's Post:

1) Finishing my first scrapbook page in months.  I really missed it while all of this stuff with Alex was going on in the fall.  I did lots of creative things, but not my huge love which is scrapbooking.

2) Touching base with my Mother in Law today and hearing how everyone is doing.  Fingers crossed that Amy's nausea will lessen.

3) Hearing how protective Lissie's brothers are of her.  We asked if she was going to dance with anyone today at the Jr. High dance while she was there for her club's fundraiser...the boys went all spider monkey at the thought of their sister being ogled and asked to dance by boys.  I love how close my kids are.

2/9/11

1) Getting to take a nap while Shon made a yummy beef veggie soup for dinner.  Just the right thing to take the bone chill away.  This -25 below wind gets you.

2) My cute little activity day girls and how loving they are.  They are so enthusiastic for every project and one of them made me a card tonight telling me I "am the best person ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!)  How can you not feel good with that kind of love?

3) Watching Joey work with clay.  His hands are so graceful, and he has a great eye for proportion.

2/8/11

1) Finding a new book series.

2) Being able to stay in for most of this cold cold cold day.

3) Having things caught up so that I could read most of the day in between loads of laundry.
